Shakespeare once said, “All the world’s a stage…”
That statement is especially true these days as the city of Los Angeles is gearing up to host the first ever BADA Sonnet Slam. BADA (The British American Drama Academy) is inviting local theater lovers to a night of sonnets, scenes, monologues and merriment at The Third Street Theater This is a fundraiser to raise scholarship funds that will be used to support students currently attending BADA’s programs. Brett recently tweeted about his involvement with their summer program during his time at Yale.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 8:00PM and will include friends of BADA, BADA faculty, alums and a few special guests. Those who are interested in attending can purchase tickets online before the day of the event for $25.00. This General Admission ticket includes both the Slam Performance and a Reunion Reception, include a raffle, and will begin at 9:00PM (directly after the performance).
