Trust No One

Trust No One – Kickstarter Campaign is now live!

Lily Miranda Trust No One

SYNOPSIS: Ben has intel people have killed for trying to get at. With time and choices running out…there really is nobody left to trust.

As we previously reported, Simon Kassianides recently teased that he will be embarking on a new project with his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. co-star, Brett Dalton. Just as he promised, the big announcement fans were waiting for came on Thursday evening in the form of a very fun and entertaining Kickstarter campaign video.

In this campaign ad, Simon promises an action thriller like you’ve never seen before, inspired by some of the greatest action franchises of our generation (specifically the Jason Bourne trilogy and Daniel Craig’s James Bond series). The enthusiastic actor goes on to introduce the incredible team he’s assembled behind the scenes as well as his co-star, Brett Dalton.

Fans of S.H.I.E.L.D. already know the pair well, but newcomers who may never have watched the series were given a glimpse into their charismatic friendship with this video.

Trust No One will feature incredible talent behind the scenes as well. Another well known name from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ann Foley, will be designing costumes. Academy Award winning Cinematographer Daniel Katz will be in charge of cinematography and Rui Da Silva (“Touch Me”) will be putting together the soundtrack to the film.

The film’s plot certainly sounds promising and fans have already scrambled to contribute their hard earned dollars to show their support. At the time of writing, a little over $4,000 has been raised in the first 6 hours of the campaign going live. With Kickstarter, project managers have a certain amount of days to raise their budget. Otherwise, the project is completely scrapped by the site. However, based on the enthusiasm fans have shown, Simon and his team should have no problem raising the $65,000 that is needed to make this film a reality.

There’s also a rumor that Outlander’s Caitriona Balfe is involved with the film, but the Kickstarter video has no mention of the prominent actress. It’s possible that her casting will be announced at a later date.

Trust No One is expected to begin filming sometime between May and June of this year, depending on the cast and crew’s schedule and this campaign’s success. If you would like to contribute to Simon and Brett’s Kickstarter campaign, please visit their Kickstarter page here. This campaign is scheduled to end on March 14, 2016 at 6:55PM EST. We’ll be using #TrustNoOne on Twitter, and remember to keep checking back for more up to the minute updates as we bring to you all the latest on this new film.

Update 3/14/16: Trust No One is now fully funded with $69,176 pledged, and Caitriona Balfe confirmed as the female lead, Amber.
